Zack Snyder Drops New Army of The Dead Poster, Teases 2nd Trailer Next Week

The wait for Army of the Dead is a little over a month away and Zack Snyder is clearly hyped up about his upcoming Netflix movie. The filmmaker has just dropped a new poster for the zombie flick and confirmed that the second trailer will be released next week.

Snyder took to his official Twitter account to share the poster. It features a blinged-out skeleton hand holding the King of Hearts. Check it out below.

"Mission accomplished, team! You've cracked the code. Get ready for the trailer drop on Tuesday," Snyder wrote. He also added the hashtag #ArmyOfTheDead.

This is great news considering that Army of the Dead is Snyder's first major project after Justice League and the Snyder Cut. In addition to that, the filmmaker has already proven that he can handle a zombie flick after the successful reboot of Dawn of the Dead. Needless to say, we can't wait to see the action-horror heist film soon.

Army of the Dead stars Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 star Dave Bautista, Mortal Kombat's Hiroyuki Sanada, and Ella Purnell from Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Students. The movie follows a group of mercenaries who plot a heist on a casino in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, a zombie outbreak takes place as they try to complete the mission.

We're still waiting for the premiere of Army of the Dead but the movie already has a prequel in the works. The new project will be an anime-style series that will reveal what happened before the zombie outbreak.

Army of the Dead will premiere in selected theaters and on Netflix on May 21, 2021.
