Will WandaVision's Billy and Tommy Return in Doctor Strange 2?

One of the best things about WandaVision was the introduction of Wanda and Vision's sons Billy and Tommy. After all, the boys immediately made it clear that they had powers just like their parents. Unfortunately, the twins disappeared along with the rest of the Hex in The Series Finale. On the other hand, Billy and Tommy could still return in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

Who Are Billy and Tommy?

In WandaVision, Wanda suddenly becomes pregnant and gives birth to twins within two episodes. The boys, who are then named Billy and Tommy, age rather quickly, most notably when trying to convince their parents that they are old enough to take care of a dog (RIP Sparky).

In the later episodes, Billy and Tommy start showing their powers and ultimately use them against the S.W.O.R.D. agents in the final episode. Sadly, Wanda eventually decides she needs to take down the Hex and when the spell disappears, so do the twins.

Are Billy and Tommy Still Alive?

Interestingly, the post-credits scene in The Series Finale teased that the twins are still alive. As Scarlet Witch's astral form studies the Darkhold, she suddenly hears the boys' voices asking for her help.

But where are Billy and Tommy? There are speculations that they ended up in a different dimension and may be confused about their own whereabouts. Hopefully, Wanda will figure out a way to save her sons soon.

Will Billy and Tommy Appear in Doctor Strange 2?

For now, it has not yet been revealed whether Billy and Tommy will return. On the other hand, there is a possibility that the search for the twins will be one of the main plots in Doctor Strange 2.

The possible return of Billy and Tommy would be an interesting move as it could reveal the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the comics, Billy and Tommy eventually become Wiccan and Speed, who are members of the Young Avengers. If they do show up again, it could mean that the MCU is introducing new heroes.
