The wait for The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is almost over and people have a lot of questions about the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series. However, it's not just the plot that fans are concerned about. For instance, people are wondering if the show will get a DVD and Blu-ray release that would include deleted scenes and special features.
The new Marvel series will follow Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) as he learns to accept that Captain America has chosen to pass the shield to him. However, things are not as easy for him and he somehow teams up with Bucky Barnes (Sebastian Stan) to face an old nemesis as well as some new ones.
It has already been confirmed that Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl) will be back in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. Interestingly, there are speculations that he could be connected to the anarchist group called the Flag-Smashers, which is led by the mysterious Karli Morgenthau (Erin Kellyman).
This might seem like too much for Sam and Bucky but luckily, it looks like they have an ally. Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp) will finally resurface in the show after being absent from the last two Avengers movies. However, her return is shrouded in mystery considering that she has been on the run for violating the Sokovia Accords.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be released on Disney+ on Friday, March 19. Only the first episode will air on the said date. The succeeding episodes will be released weekly after the premiere.
For now, Disney and Marvel Studios have not yet announced whether The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be released on DVD, Blu-ray or any other format. In the meantime, the series will be available on Disney+ after its premiere on March 19.
