Will Shang-Chi Reintroduce Iron Fist into the MCU?

There is little doubt that Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings will introduce new characters into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The highly anticipated film will also bring in the real Mandarin who will be played by Tony Leung. But is it possible that the movie will finally bring Iron Fist into the MCU?

Iron Fist is currently one of the best known Asian comic book heroes. However, Danny Rand was played by Finn Jones in the Netflix Marvel series. Naturally, fans were initially unhappy about Danny being portrayed by a white actor. Now, some believe that Marvel Studios now has the chance to do things right with Shang-Chi.

It has been pointed out that the trailer for The Legend of the Ten Rings hinted at a tournament where Shang-Chi and his sister Xialing are participants. It is believed that they will not be the only ones participating in the fight. Not surprisingly, some theorize that Iron Fist will be one of the participants.

This is an interesting idea considering that fans have been hoping that the characters from the Netflix Marvel shows will eventually join the MCU. But will Iron Fist actually be recast or will Jones continue to play the character? We'll have to wait until September to find out.

For now, it has not yet been confirmed whether Iron Fist will show up in Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings. Stay tuned for updates on this story.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of the Ten Rings will star Simu Liu as the titular character. The film is scheduled for release on September 3, 2021.
