It took a long time but Star Trek: Lower Decks is now available for streaming in the UK. Find out how you can enjoy the first season of the hilarious animated series that Trekkies can't stop talking about.

The first season of Star Trek: Lower Decks premiered in August 2020 as part of Alex Kurtzman's expansion of the franchise. The animated series, created by Rick and Morty's Mike McMahan, follows the misadventures of the support crew serving on USS Cerritos, one of Starfleet's least important ships.

Lower Decks was an instant hit with Trekkies in the US when it premiered on CBS All Access but has yet to be enjoyed by international fans. Luckily, the first season of the animated Star Trek series is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime.

Star Trek: Lower Decks is only available on CBS All Access in the USA. Trekkies in international territories like the UK and Europe, Japan, India, New Zealand and Australia can now watch the show on Amazon Prime Video.

Is Star Trek: Lower Decks on Netflix?

Fans who have been digging through Netflix in hopes of watching Lower Decks are in for some bad news. The series is only available on CBS All Access in the US and on Amazon Prime Video in selected international territories.

Is Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 2 Now Available?

CBS All Access had ordered the first two seasons of Lower Decks back in 2018. However, only Season 1 has been released so far.

Trekkies who are eager to catch up with the support crew of USS Cerritos are in for a treat. Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 2 is currently in production and will premiere in the latter end of 2021.

 

All 10 episodes of Star Trek: Lower Decks Season 1 are now streaming on CBS All Access and Amazon Prime Video.
