WandaVision Episode 8 Had An Awesome Stan Lee Easter Egg

The saddest thing about the new Marvel Cinematic Universe releases is that they don't have any cameos from the late Stan Lee. However, that hasn't stopped WandaVision from paying tribute to the Marvel icon. The latest episode of the MCU series featured an awesome Easter Egg that honors Stan the Man.

WandaVision Episode 8 had several major revelations about Wanda Maximoff including the truth about what happened to her family in Sokovia and how she got her powers from the Mind Stone. However, the most heartbreaking reveal followed Wanda as she drives into Westview to visit the lot Vision had purchased for them to build a home on.

Although Wanda's jaw-dropping release of power that created the Hex around Westview was something that people can't stop talking about, some people noticed something awesome about her car's license plate. Although it appeared to be a perfectly normal plate, it also featured the word "Excelsior."

Marvel fans are familiar with the word considering that it was Lee's signature catchphrase. Although it was barely visible in the shot, there is little doubt that WandaVision producers expected fans to find the Easter Egg in Episode 8.

This isn't the first time that WandaVision paid tribute to Lee. In Episode 7, Wanda's license plate also featured the numbers 122822, which is Lee's birthdate (December 28, 1922).

WandaVision is now down to its final episode but we're hoping we'll get another awesome tribute to Stan the Man.
