The commercials in WandaVision have always been tied to Wanda Maximoff's personal tragedies but the ad in Episode 7 could be a tease at something much, much bigger. So what is Nexus and what could it mean for the Marvel Cinematic Universe?
WATCH OUT! SPOILERS ahead for WandaVision Episode 7!
The WandaVision Episode 7 commercial features a woman sitting on a bench at a park where everyone appears to be having fun. A voiceover then asks, "Feeling depressed? Like the world has gone on without you?" It also asks if the woman just wants to be left alone and recommends asking her doctor about Nexus.
Nexus is "a unique antidepressant that works to anchor you back to your reality - or the reality of your choice." The voiceover also lists down the side effects which include "feeling your feelings, confronting your truth, seizing your destiny, and possibly more depression."
Interestingly, there is also a warning stating that you should not take Nexus unless "your doctor has cleared you to move on with your life." The tagline for the drug is "Nexus. Because the world doesn't revolve around you. Or does it?"
So what is Nexus? In the comic books, the Nexus of All Realities is an area in Florida where the fabric of spacetime is very thin. This allows sorcerers to move across dimensions and make anything possible when they tap into its power.
The Nexus of All Realities has already been teased upon in the MCU (specifically, in Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok). However, it is possible that the Nexus is actually in Westview and that Wanda has tapped into its power.
That's not the only thing that the commercial teased upon. The reference to a doctor clearing you (possibly Wanda) to move on might be a tease at Stephen Strange's arrival and the connection to Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
