WandaVision Art Casts Iron Man Star Jeff Bridges as MCU Magneto

Fans are already expecting the wildest things to happen in WandaVision but is it possible that the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series will actually introduce one of the most popular X-Men? A new fan art imagines Iron Man star Jeff Bridges as the MCU's version of Magneto.

We already know that Wanda Maximoff has a completely different origin story in the MCU but there is now a possibility that the comic book origin could be adapted in the Disney+ series. With that in mind, digital artist Lucas Werneck created a stunning WandaVisionfan art imagining Bridges as Wanda's mutant father Magneto. Check it out below.

The idea of Magneto joining WandaVision is certainly a welcome one considering that fans have been hoping to see the X-Men joining the MCU. Since the Disney+ show is set to depict a distorted reality for Wanda, it wouldn't be a shock if her comic book father makes an appearance. On the other hand, this has not yet been confirmed by Disney and Marvel Studios so it's best to take this with a grain of salt.

Bridges is certainly an excellent candidate to play Magneto although he has already portrayed a different character in the MCU. He appeared as the main villain Obadiah Stane in the first Iron Man film and has not been brought back since. Perhaps it might be time for Bridges to return but this time as a mutant.

WandaVision stars Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany as Vision. The Marvel series is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on January 15, 2021.
