Tokyo Ghoul's Sui Ishida Pays Tribute to Attack on Titan with Awesome Eren Yeager Portrait


Everyone is feeling very emotional about the end of Attack on Titan and even other artists are paying tribute to the manga's epic conclusion. Tokyo Ghoul creator Sui Ishida decided to honor Attack on Titan Chapter 139 by sharing a stunning portrait of Eren Yeager.

Ishida posted the illustration on his official Twitter account. Interestingly, it features Eren with a cool image reflected on his blade. Check it out below.

We're loving the portrait and how it pays tribute to one of the most iconic characters in manga and anime. It's a fitting homage to Eren and everything that happened in Attack on Titan Chapter 139.

Attack on Titan has lasted more than a decade and the manga has finally come to an end with Chapter 139, which was released on April 9. On the same day, several fans paid tribute to Hajime Isayama and his work. It's no surprise that even Ishida felt the need to honor the manga's conclusion last week.

Although the manga is now over, fans can still look forward to more episodes of the anime. The first part of Attack on Titan Season 4 has just ended but it has already been confirmed that Part 2 is coming in Winter 2022. Needless to say, we can still expect more of Eren in the final season.

Attack on Titan Chapter 139 was released on April 9. Attack on Titan Season 4 Part 2 has not yet been given an official release date. Nevertheless, Episode 76 is expected to air sometime between January to March 2022.
