The first trailer for Titans Season 3 is finally here and it looks like the team has a lot to deal with next month. The teaser doesn't hold back in throwing punches as we see the death of Jason Todd and the rise of Red Hood.
The Titans Season 3 trailer opens with Dick Grayson reminiscing a key moment in his childhood. However, it's far from a sweet memory. Dick reveals that Bruce Wayne had left him out in the forest to fend for himself. A man replies that Bruce was doing this to a young boy and that he was a psychopath who used fear to control people.
The man adds that Dick needs to make sure that Bruce doesn't do the same thing to someone else but it might be too late. We see Jason investigating something in the dark and is immediately revealed to have walked into a trap.
With Jason's death, Bruce decides it's time to retire. He then tells Dick to be a better Batman but that could be a lot more difficult than expected. Red Hood announces that with Batman gone, Gotham now belongs to him.
Red Hood isn't the only one we see in the Titans Season 3 trailer. We also get our first glimpse at Savanna Welch as Barbara Gordon, the new Gotham City Police Commissioner. In addition to that, it is revealed that Jonathan Crane aka Scarecrow (Vincent Kartheiser) is serving as Gordon's consultant on the Red Hood case.
Titans Season 3 will premiere on HBO Max on August 12, 2021.
