It has already been confirmed that Jaimie Alexander is finally returning as Lady Sif in Thor: Love and Thunder. Not surprisingly, the Blindspot star is getting people all hyped up for the Asgardian's comeback after she shared an awesome photo of her character in action.
Alexander took to her official Instagram account to share a photo of Sif that perfectly sums up how everyone feels about the last day of the previous year. Check it out below.
"Last Thursday of 2020," Alexander wrote before adding the hashtags #mood, #bye, #nye, and #ladysif.
It's a perfectly relatable image that we've already seen before. After all, it shows Alexander's character in the Agents of SHIELD episode where she kicked an RV out of the way. Although this is an old photo, we're looking forward to seeing some new ones now that Alexander is getting ready to work on another Marvel Cinematic Universe film yet again.
It was previously confirmed that Alexander is joining the cast of Love and Thunder, which will be directed by Taika Waititi. Alexander will be reunited with Thor: The Dark World co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman.
In addition to that, there are speculations that Sif will be working with Tessa Thompson's Valkyrie, who was first introduced in Thor: Ragnarok. Needless to say, this is one duo that we're looking forward to seeing next year.
Thor: Love and Thunder is expected to begin filming this month so stay tuned for more updates on the production. In the meantime, the sequel is scheduled for release on May 6, 2022.
