We already know that Chris Hemsworth has been working hard to be in top shape for Thor: Love and Thunder. However, he isn't the only star who has been bulking up for the Marvel Cinematic Universe sequel. New set photos of Natalie Portman are showing off her jacked-up look and fans can't get enough of it.
There are several images that have been taken from the set of Love and Thunder but the most recent ones feature Portman preparing to get to work. Interestingly, the pictures confirm that the Black Swan star had been working out and display her buff arms. Check them out here.
It's no secret that Portman had been training for her role in Thor 4. After all, Jane Foster is expected to become the new God of Thunder in the sequel. That means Jane could be joining the action and that Portman would have to work on some fight sequences. With that in mind, adding some muscle is important.
We're certainly looking forward to seeing Jane showing off her new powers as well as her awesome new form. However, we'll still have to wait a full year to see Love and Thunder.
Thor: Love and Thunder is directed by Taika Waititi and also stars Tessa Thompson, Jaimie Alexander, and Christian Bale. The sequel will feature the Guardians of the Galaxy including Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Dave Bautista as Drax, and Sean Gunn as Kraglin. The film is scheduled for release on May 6, 2022.
