The Witcher Star Henry Cavill Shares Update on COVID-19 Self-Quarantine

Most of us are trying to look for new ways to pass the time while self-isolating during the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). While others are binging on their favorite films and TV shows, others are catching up on their reading or trying to work from home. However, it looks like Henry Cavill has taken up a new hobby. The star of The Witcher has revealed that he has decided to try his hand at baking.

Cavill shared a new photo on his official Instagram account and it shows off his self-described "Isolation loaf." Check it out below.

Well, at least he won't be hungry while he's in self-isolation. Sadly, Cavill didn't share the recipe for his freshly-baked bread. However, we wouldn't be surprised if he posts more pictures from his adventures with baking.

Cavill was supposed to be working on the second season of The Witcher but production on the Netflix series has been suspended because of COVID-19. Sadly, one of his fellow cast members has been found to be positive for the disease. Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju, who will be joining Season 2, has previously confirmed that he tested positive for Coronavirus. For now, Hivju has not yet offered any updates on his condition but we'll keep you updated on this story.

Production on The Witcher Season 2 started earlier this year and was expected to last all the way until summer. However, filming is now expected to last until the end of the year due to the delay. In the meantime, the series is still set to premiere in 2021.
