The Witcher Star Henry Cavill Shares First Look at Geralt of Rivia in Season 2

We already know that The Witcher Season 2 has already resumed production although the set photos have yet to offer a glimpse at the cast. Luckily, Henry Cavill has our back. The Justice League star has just shared the first photos of Geralt of Rivia from the second season of the Netflix series.

Cavill took to his official Instagram account to share two new images of Geralt in The Witcher Season 2. In addition to that, he shared a passage from the books. Check it out below.

"'It may turn out,' said the white-haired man a moment later, ‘that their comrades or cronies may ask what befell these evil men. Tell them the Wolf bit them. The White Wolf. And add that they should keep glancing over their shoulders. One day they'll look back and see the Wolf,'" Cavill wrote before adding that the passage is "From the writings of Andrzej Sapkowski." He also tagged @WitcherNetflix and posted the hashtag #Witcher2

There isn't a lot of major changes here which suggests there won't be a significant time jump since the events in the previous season finale. Needless to say, we can't wait to see Cavill in action in The Witcher Season 2.

The Witcher Season 2 was already in production earlier this year but needed to be put on hold due to COVID-19. Despite the long delay, there is still a huge possibility that filming will be completed soon in time for the show's 2021 return on Netflix.
