If you tuned in to the latest episode of The Walking Dead Season 10, chances are you were completely shocked when Negan faced off against Alpha. Although this means that the terrifying leader of the Whisperers will no longer be a part of the series, Jeffrey Dean Morgan still made sure to pay tribute to Samantha Morton. The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice star has just shared a gruesome photo from the set of the AMC show that might impress Alpha herself.

Morgan posted the behind-the-scenes image on his official Instagram account and be warned, it's pretty scary. Check it out below.

"SPOILER???? Or is it? Just don’t look or read... I waited to post. Well... shoot. Gonna miss @samanthamorton something fierce. Alpha? We shall see. Photo of me and alpha walker head by @gnicotero who btw... also made said head. Yup. I rhymed. @amcthewalkingdead head also borrowing my readers to see script changes," Morgan wrote.

For now, it seems unlikely that there will be any major script changes. After all, Negan had already taken Alpha's zombified head to Carol and it was revealed that she and Negan had been working together all along. Needless to say, it was all worth it as it meant they finally defeated Alpha. We're not quite sure what will happen next in Season 10 but we're hoping that it means nobody will have to worry about the Whisperers (I could be wrong).

The next episode of The Walking Dead Season 10 airs every Sunday night.
