Happy Ahsoka Tano Day! Fans have been celebrating the Star Wars character's special day but it looks like Rosario Dawson has the best tribute to the former Jedi. TheMandalorian star has just shared an awesome behind-the-scenes video showing how she transformed into Ahsoka in the Disney+ series.
Dawson shared the video on her official Twitter account along with a special message for Ashley Eckstein who started the Ahsoka Tano Day tradition. The video was clearly taken while Dawson was working on The Mandalorian Season 2. Watch it below.
"Happy #AhsokaTanoDay ! Thank you @Ashley_Eckstein for bringing Ashoka to life for us all. It's one of the greatest honors & privileges of my life to share this remarkable character w/ the world alongside you," Dawson wrote. She then added the hashtag and tagged #DreamTeam @starwars @dave_filoni @Jon_Favreau #BrianSipe and #SamanthaWard.
One of the best things about the video is the fact that there were no major changes to Dawson's general appearance. This meant that all of the prosthetics used to transform her into Ahsoka were practical and made it easy for her to perform as the character.
Although this is the first time we're seeing a behind-the-scenes look at Dawson's transformation as Ahsoka, it probably won't be the last. After all, the Daredevil star is confirmed to reprise the role in the upcoming Ahsoka Tano series. In addition to that, Dawson could return in The Mandalorian Season 3 as well.
The Ahsoka Tano series has not yet been given an official release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
