The Mandalorian Season 3 Could Undergo Major Changes Due to Pedro Pascal's The Last of Us Casting

Pedro Pascal is definitely on a roll now that he has been cast as Joel in the live-action series adaptation of The Last of Us. However, the new role might also mean trouble for Pascal's other major project. There is a possibility that The Mandalorian Season 3 will undergo some major changes due to Pascal's busy schedule.

It was previously confirmed that Pascal will be taking the lead role of Joel in The Last of Us. He will work alongside fellow Game of Thrones actress Bella Ramsey, who has been cast as Ellie. Although the HBO show's production start date has not yet been announced, Pascal is expected to prioritize the new series based on the Naughty Dog video game.

But could Pascal's priorities also mean that his other projects will be compromised? The deadline had pointed out that the actor's involvement in The Mandalorian Season 3 will be minimal due to The Last of Us being his priority.

"[Pascal] will continue on the Star Wars series, where he is used sparingly because of the nature of his character, though The Last Of Us has him in the first position," the report reads.

This particular detail could mean that The Mandalorian Season 3 will have to use more of Pascal's body double yet again although the character has somehow started accepting the fact that he doesn't need to keep his helmet on at all times. Perhaps old habits will die hard for Mando, even in the third season.

The Mandalorian Season 3 will begin production in April. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
