The Mandalorian Season 2 Teased Star Wars Villain's Return

The Mandalorian Season 2 already has its own major villain in Moff Gideon. However, the latest episode may have teased the possibility that Gideon isn't the only Big Bad who will show up in the Disney+ series. Amazingly, Episode 5 has just dropped an update on one of the most terrifying Star Wars villains and hinted at his live-action debut.

In Chapter 13: The Jedi, we are immediately introduced to Ahsoka Tano, who is played by Rosario Dawson. Ahsoka is trying to get some information from the Magistrate of Calodan on the planet Corvus and it is later revealed to be a truly important detail.

When Ahsoka and Mando successfully infiltrate the city, Ahsoka faces off against the Magistrate, overcoming her and forcing the woman to reveal the location of her master Grand Admiral Thrawn.

This doesn't necessarily mean that the villain will actually show up in The Mandalorian but the name drop is still a big one. After all, there have been reports that a live-action Thrawn series is being planned by Disney and Lucasfilm along with an Ezra Bridger show. Nevertheless, fans are still hoping that The Mandalorian Season 2 will introduce these characters into live-action before they get their own shows.

Chapter 13 also hinted at another way that Ezra could show up in the Star Wars series. There are speculations that he will be the Jedi who could eventually train Baby Yoda later in the show. However, it is important to point out that this has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 5 is currently streaming on Disney+.
