The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 2 Had Awesome Cameo From Kim's Convenience Star

There is little doubt that the second episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 was an exciting one because of all the adorable scenes featuring Baby Yoda and the awesome appearance of some cool New Republic X-Wing pilots. But did one of the pilots look a little too familiar? It has been confirmed that the pilot in Chapter 10 was actually played by Appa from Kim's Convenience.

A fan pointed out on Twitter that they thought one of the X-Wing pilots in The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 2 looked a lot like Paul Sun-Hyung Lee but decided that it was probably just another actor who resembled the actor. Interestingly, Lee retweeted the post along with a cool confirmation. Check it out below.

In Chapter 10: The Passenger, Lee played Captain Carson Teva, one of the New Republic X-Wing pilots who came after Mando when he tried to evade them. The cautious Mando had chosen not to respond to their request for a "ping" but although there was an arrest warrant for the Mandalorian, they chose to let him go because Mando had confined three other criminals and defended the prison guard.

We're loving the idea that Lee had an awesome cameo in The Mandalorian Season 2 but he isn't the only star who showed up in the latest episode. Dave Filoni also returned as Trapper Wolf and Star Wars: The Clone Wars voice actor Dee Bradley Baker provided the voice of the Frog Lady.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 2 is currently streaming on Disney+.
