This isn't exactly a huge surprise considering that Lucasfilm might be determined to distance themselves from Carano after her removal. On the other hand, it might also confirm what will happen to her character in The Mandalorian Season 3.
Fans have been speculating about the future of Cara Dune in The Mandalorian Season 3. Although most are hoping that the character will be recast in the upcoming season, the decision to cancel production on the Cara figure might confirm that she will be killed off in the series.
There is still a possibility that a new figure will be made in the likeness of the new actress who will play Cara in the third season. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
