The final episode of The Mandalorian Season 2 is here and fans simply couldn't get enough of Chapter 16: The Rescue. In addition to packing in so much action in just one episode, the season finale also brought back an original Star Wars character and people can't stop talking about it.

In Chapter 16: The Rescue, Mando enlisted the help of Bo-Katan Kryze to save Baby Yoda from Moff Gideon. Although the plan actually succeeded and Mando even got to go up against Gideon and win the Darksaber, they were all help back when the Dark Troopers that Mando tried to get rid of came back for them.
Needless to say, the rescue mission was about to fail until an X-Wing arrived and a dark hooded figure came in with a green lightsaber and began fighting the Dark Troopers. This character doesn't need an introduction: It's Luke Skywalker and he is here because he heard Baby Yoda's Force call.
Not surprisingly, fans are going nuts over Luke's surprise appearance in The Mandalorian Season 2 finale.
Although the idea of Luke's return is a great one, people were also sad to see that Baby Yoda would be separated from Mando. Nevertheless, it meant that great things would happen for the two Jedi in the future.
