Baron Zemo has spent most of the last two episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier with Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. However, things changed even before the end of Episode 4. So what happened to Zemo and where did he go after the close encounter with the Dora Milaje?

In The Whole World is Watching, Bucky convinced Ayo to let them continue working with Zemo until they tracked down the Super Soldier serum. Although she agrees, the Dora Milaje immediately show up as soon as Sam, Bucky and Zemo find Karli Morgenthau.

The Wakandans don't waste time in trying to take Zemo but John Walker intervenes, refusing to give up the criminal. This leads to a major fight where Walker is humiliated. Unfortunately, it also gave Zemo the chance to escape by slipping down a drainpipe.

Zemo's escape may have been a good thing for fans who have been rooting for the character but it's also trouble for Sam and Bucky. After all, they were the ones who helped Zemo break out of prison. In addition to that, Bucky was expected to surrender Zemo to the Wakandans once they found Karli.

But where did Zemo go in the first place? Some believe the villain may have returned to Madripoor. However, some new details from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5 might confirm that he's heading to a more familiar place.

It was previously reported that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5 will bring Sam and Bucky to Louisiana. There is a possibility that Zemo will follow them there and will probably try to find a way to take down the Flag-Smashers.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 5 will premiere on Disney+ on April 16.
