The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Reportedly Introducing Young Avengers Member

We already know that The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be bringing back Sebastian Stan's Bucky Barnes and Anthony Mackie's Sam Wilson. However, it looks like the Marvel Cinematic Universe series will also introduce a future hero. A new report suggests that a member of the Young Avengers will be joining the team this year.

According to Murphy's Multiverse, the show has added Elijah Richardson as Elijah Bradley aka The Patriot. The details were actually revealed in Richardson's IMDb page where his role in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is listed. Interestingly, it was even confirmed that the When They See Us actor will appear in two episodes of the MCU show.

So is The Patriot joining The Falcon and The Winter Soldier? The report was also quick to point out that the IMDb entries can be edited anonymously so it isn't exactly the most reliable source. On the other hand, several secret roles have already been revealed in the past so it's only a matter of time before the truth is confirmed.

We're loving the idea of The Patriot being a part of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier since the show is probably the best way to introduce the Young Avengers. Hopefully, we will learn more about the character's role in the series soon.

The synopsis of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier reads as follows:

"After being handed the mantle of Captain America at the end of Avengers: Endgame, Sam Wilson teams up with Bucky Barnes in a worldwide adventure that puts their abilities to the test as they fight the anarchist group the Flag-Smashers."

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will premiere on Disney+ on March 19.
