It looks like we'll be meeting Sam Wilson's family in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. One of the new stills from the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe series features our first look at Sam's sister Sarah Wilson.
The photo was one of the several stills released by Disney and Marvel Studios ahead of the premiere of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. It features Anthony Mackie with director Kari Skogland and co-star Adepero Oguye, who has been cast as Sarah Wilson. Check it out below.
Sarah certainly looks like a cool and tough woman here and we can't wait to learn more about her in the series. Although she only plays a minor role in the comic books, Sarah could be a more important character in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier.
In the comics, Sarah is the one who suffers as Sam turned into the criminal Snap Wilson. Interestingly, it was the Red Skull who erased Sam's memories and restored Sam to be a good man. Through it all, Sarah supported her brother although she is younger than him.
There's a possibility that Sarah's role will be different in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. We're hoping that she also gets into the action to help her brother out in the series.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will also star Sebastian Stan, Emily VanCamp, Daniel Bruhl, Wyatt Russell, and Erin Kellyman. The series will premiere on Disney+ on March 19.
