The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Fans are Defending The Flag-Smashers

It has already been confirmed that the Flag-Smashers are going to be a huge problem for Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes. However, the second episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier may have revealed a different side of the "terrorist group" led by Karli Morgenthau and fans are now defending them.

In the first episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, we got a glimpse of the Flag-Smashers as Joaquin Torres tracks them down and faces off against Dovich, a member of the group who is revealed to have super strength. However, Episode 2 confirmed that Dovich isn't the only Super Soldier in the team.

When Sam and Bucky take on the Flag-Smashers, it is revealed that every member of the team actually has super strength. The strongest one appears to be their leader Karli and she also has problems to deal with.

Although the Flag-Smashers manage to escape Sam, Bucky, John Walker and Lemar Hoskins, they later encounter new baddies who were sent by the mysterious Power Broker. The Flag-Smashers are only able to get away when one of their members sacrifices himself by buying them some time to escape.

Now things are beginning to look different. Some fans are starting to believe that the Flag-Smashers are not the real bad guys in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. After all, they just want "a world that's unified without borders." Additionally, they're helping some people out and being called "Robin Hoods" at one point.

So are the Flag-Smashers really evil terrorists or are they just being portrayed as such? We still have a few more episodes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier to find out the truth.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 2 is now streaming on Disney+.
