WARNING: The following contains SPOILERS from The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 2! Proceed with caution!

In The Star-Spangled Man, viewers got to learn more about John Walker. We've also introduced to his best friend Lemar Hoskins to whom John admits that he isn't exactly thrilled about his new job as Cap. Nevertheless, Lemar tells him it's all part of the job.

Meanwhile, Sam and Bucky head for Germany to investigate the Flag-Smashers who are actually smuggling vaccines. Although they are able to locate the terrorist group and try to free a hostage, it is revealed that the hostage is actually the group's leader Karli Morgenthau.

Sam and Bucky then take on the Flag-Smashers, all of whom appear to have superhuman strength. They are close to being defeated but John and Lemar suddenly swoop in to help them out.

It's clear that John is just trying his best but Sam and Bucky are simply not impressed. They head for Baltimore to search out help from Isaiah Bradley but are turned down because of his past with HYDRA. Additionally, Isaiah wants nothing to do with the government that imprisoned him for decades.

The meeting leads to Sam and Bucky arguing which the police notice and immediately try to arrest Sam. However, it is Bucky who gets arrested for missing court-mandated therapy. Although the two believe that they were bailed out by Bucky's therapist, it was actually John who got them out of jail.

John really wants Sam and Bucky's help to deal with the Flag-Smashers. However, they aren't interested and decide to enlist the help of Baron Zemo instead. Needless to say, this is probably a terrible idea.

The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Episode 2 takes its time to establish what is happening in the Marvel Cinematic Universe right now. However, there is little doubt that the pace will be a lot faster in the next few episodes.

The second episode of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is titled The Star-Spangled Man. The episode is now available for streaming on Disney+.
