Being the new Caped Crusader should make you fearless, right? Maybe bats should be an exception. Unfortunately, that's not the case for Robert Pattinson. The star of The Batman has just admitted that he is still terrified of paparazzi.
Pattinson recently opened up about his unusual fear while speaking to GQ. In the interview, the Lighthouse actor was asked about his personal fashion style and it somehow led to Pattinson sharing how he dressed down to avoid attention.
"I have so many terror memories of the paparazzi… and I still don full-on protective armor, hood up, hat down," he said. He then added that he "could dress like A$AP Rocky, he just has serious style."
But what's with the fear of paparazzi? There's a good reason why Pattinson is constantly hounded by nosy photographers. After all, he was once a favorite of tabloids after he started dating Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart. In addition to that, his relationship with musician FKA Twigs was highly publicized as well.
He might not be in a high-profile relationship right now but that doesn't mean that Pattinson has been forgotten by the paparazzi. After all, he is the new Batman and everyone wants to get a picture of him. Hopefully, photographers will eventually get tired of taking photos of Pattinson if he keeps wearing his casual gear.
Pattinson is currently filming The Batman, which is scheduled for release on June 25, 2021.
