It's no secret that the Riddler will be a major villain in The Batman. After all, the first teaser for the upcoming DC film already hinted at Edward Nashton being the baddie who is trying to torment the Caped Crusader although we never get a good look at the character. Luckily, the new poster for the Warner Bros. flick offers a clear look at Paul Dano's Riddler.

The poster was created by digital artist Bosslogic and has been shared on Instagram. You can check it out below.

It's interesting to note that this version of the Riddler looks more like another comic book supervillain. Several fans have pointed out that the costume looks more like Hush, who was once Bruce Wayne's friend Tommy Elliot. Considering that Hush has a connection to the Riddler, this could be something to remember once the film is finally released.

It has already been confirmed that the Riddler will be portrayed as a serial killer similar to the Zodiac Killer in The Batman. Additionally, Dano's character is set to be the major antagonist that Bruce has to capture before the villain goes too far. Not much is known about the character just yet. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and will star Robert Pattinson, Zoë Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Peter Sarsgaard, Barry Keoghan, Jayme Lawson, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell. The film is currently in production and is scheduled for release on March 4, 2022.
