Star Wars Voice Actor Jason Isaacs Wants to Play Live-Action Inquisitor from Rebels

There is little doubt that people are excited now that Katee Sackhoff has been confirmed to play the live-action version of her Star Wars: The Clone Wars character Bo-Katan Kryze in The Mandalorian Season 2. But is it also possible that someone from Star Wars Rebels will make the move to live-action? Jason Isaacs has just admitted that he is eager to play the Inquisitor all over again for totally relatable reasons.

Isaacs recently spoke to Collider while promoting his new animated film Scoob! where he provides the voice of Dick Dastardly. Not surprisingly, the conversation turned to the Harry Potter star's many voice acting roles and he was asked if there was any animated character he wanted to play in a live-action film.

At first, Isaacs considered several possibilities, pointing out that he has played Superman in Superman: Red Son as well as Commander Zhao in Avatar: The Last Airbender. However, his obvious choice was none other than the Inquisitor from Star Wars Rebels because "he has the coolest lightsaber in the entire Star Wars Universe."

We can't really blame Isaacs for wanting to play the Inquisitor all over again. After all, he was a truly memorable character and yes, his lightsaber was amazing. On the other hand, it doesn't seem like there are any plans to introduce the Inquisitor into live-action just yet. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
