Star Wars Visions Has Unexpected Connection to The Mandalorian

The new trailer for Star Wars: Visions has confirmed that the upcoming anthology series has a lot of exciting new stories from a different perspective. However, that doesn't mean it isn't connected to the current Star Wars shows on Disney+. It has been revealed that a familiar character who appeared in The Mandalorian will play an interesting role in one of the anime's episodes.

We already know that Visions will consist of nine episodes from new storytellers exploring a different side of the Star Wars Universe. It's an ambitious project that appears to be doing the right thing, as confirmed in the new trailer.

Although it looks like Visions will introduce us to new characters, we'll also get to see someone who has played an important role in the Skywalker Saga as well as The Mandalorian.

The voice cast for all nine episodes has been revealed and it is confirmed that Boba Fett is one of the characters in Tatooine Rhapsody. Moreover, the bounty hunter will once again be played by Temuera Morrison, who previously returned as the character in The Mandalorian Season 2.

There have been previous reports that Morrison is working on another Star Wars project other than the upcoming Mandalorian spin-off The Book of Boba Fett. Although fans were hoping it would be the Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor, it has been revealed to be Visions.

Star Wars: Visions will premiere on Disney+ on September 22, 2021. Morrison returns in The Book of Boba Fett, which is scheduled for release in December.
