Star Wars: Visions EP Teases Possible Season 2

Star Wars: Visions is finally out and the anime anthology series is giving us a very different look at the Star Wars Universe. But for some, nine episodes simply isn't enough. So what are the chances that we'll get to see a second season of the new Disney+ show? Executive producer James Waugh has admitted that he wants to work on Season 2 and it could happen if the fans agree.

Visions premiered on Disney+ earlier this week and people can't stop talking about the mind-blowing new stories that were introduced into the Star Wars Universe. One of the most common feedback has been that there should be more episodes in the anime series.

So can we look forward to another season of Star Wars: Visions? That's the question that Comicbook.com asked Waugh and the Lucasfilm vice president had an enthusiastic response.

"Yes, absolutely," he said. Waugh then added that although it is a project he wants to continue working on, Season 2 can only be decided by the fans.

"We'll see what happens. Let's see how the response is this anthology, and I hope it's as positive as your experience, which makes me really happy we did," he said.

At this point, Disney and Lucasfilm have not yet confirmed Star Wars: Visions for a second season. However, there is a huge chance that we'll get an official announcement before the end of the year. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.

All nine episodes of Star Wars: Visions are now streaming on Disney+.
