We all know that Baby Yoda is the true star of The Mandalorian (sorry, Mando) but that doesn't mean that the Star Wars series doesn't have other interesting characters. For instance, Greef Carga is clearly a man with a cool origin story that fans are hoping to learn about in the upcoming episodes. However, Carl Weathers has just revealed that his character's backstory will be explored in Season 2.
Weathers recently spoke to GamesRadar+ where he confirmed that we will learn more about Greef soon.
"I think [Greef's backstory] is more saved for Season 2," Weathers said. On the other hand, he also confirmed that you might learn a little bit about the character if you pay attention to each episode of the first season.
"But you get some glimpses at Greef and who he is through the stories in the first season. There's some real strong indications that give you some idea of who he is. But we never let on completely," he concluded.
We're certainly looking forward to finding out more about Greef really soon. After all, it's almost guaranteed that Weathers will continue to play the character in Season 2. It was previously confirmed that the Rocky star will direct one of the episodes of the next season of the Star Wars show.
For now, we're not sure how many more episodes Greef will appear in Season 1. However, there is a huge possibility that he's set to play a major role in tracking down Mando and Baby Yoda.
The fifth episode of The Mandalorian will air on December 6.
