Star Wars Reveals Luke Skywalker Wasn't the Only One Who Trained Leia Organa

One of the best moments in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was the confirmation that General Leia Organa actually trained in the ways of the Jedi, thanks to her brother Luke Skywalker. However, it looks like Luke wasn't the only one who was training Leia after the events in Return of the Jedi.

Fans have been learning more about what really happened in The Rise of Skywalker through the film's novelization. For instance, it was confirmed that the Emperor Palpatine that appeared in the movie was actually a clone. In addition to that, the final words that Rey and Ben Solo exchanged were revealed in the book. Now, people have uncovered yet another interesting discovery.

In the Rise of Skywalker novelization, a certain passage explained that Leia was also able to communicate with Force ghosts and that they had helped her during her training (via Screenrant).

An excerpt from the book reads as follows:

"Leia was no Jedi Master, but she had learned from the best. And not just from Luke; over the years she'd occasionally heard the voice of Obi-Wan Kenobi through the Force, and even more rarely, that of Yoda. Some days it had felt as though she'd learned from the Force itself."

It's interesting to know that Leia was also able to hear the voices of the Jedi Masters but we're loving the idea that the Force itself had helped her in her training. This could also explain why Rey managed to learn new things although she was only trained briefly by Luke.

You can revisit Leia in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which is currently available on digital.
