Star Wars Reportedly Casting The Mandalorian Prequel Focusing on Boba Fett

It looks like Disney and Lucasfilm have big plans for a particular character who just proved he is more than just an overrated figure in the Star Wars Universe. A new report reveals that a Mandalorian prequel series focusing on Boba Fett is already in the works and the studio is already casting two mysterious characters for the show.

The report comes from The Direct which reveals that a Star Wars series is already in the works. Interestingly, it is suggested that the new show will be set in the same universe as The Mandalorian and will follow Boba's story before the events in the Jon Favreau series.

That's not the only cool thing that the report confirmed. It was also revealed that the show is already looking to cast two supporting roles.

The first character is called Kelton and is described as "23 to 27 years old, all ethnicities male. British. Athletic. Fit. Strong-willed and confident, bordering on arrogant. Witchy. SUPPORTING." The second one is named Lacey and the description states that the character is "23 to 30 years old, all ethnicities female. Preppy. Strong build. Leader. Will do anything to accomplish her goals, including lying to her own team. SUPPORTING."

For now, it looks like these could be completely new characters that will be introduced into the Star Wars Universe. Could these characters be the ones who help Boba out of the Sarlacc Pit? Hopefully, we'll learn more soon.

Although we're loving the idea of a Boba prequel show, it is important to point out that the project has not yet been confirmed. With that in mind, it's best to take this with a grain of salt.
