Star Wars: Mythbusters' Grant Imahara Builds Adorable Animatronic Baby Yoda

The wait for the Baby Yoda merchandise continues and there is little doubt that some people are already getting impatient. So what can you do while waiting for an official Star Wars plushie? Well, if you're Grant Imahara, you can always build your own animatronic version of the adorable character.

The former Mythbuster recently confirmed on his official Twitter account that he decided not to wait for the official Disney merch and created his own animatronic Baby Yoda. Not surprisingly, this little guy seems to like chicken nuggets. Check it out below.

"Pleased to present my newest creation: a fully animatronic Baby Yoda. Special thx to @SaltiestHime for silicone skin/paint/hair, @thelindsayjane for the coat and Project 842 for the digital model. Touring children's hospitals starting in April!" Imahara wrote before adding the hashtags #BabyYoda, #TheMandalorian, and #Starwars.

First of all, this is probably the cutest thing that Imahara has ever worked on. Secondly, it sounds like he's planning to take the animatronic Baby Yoda to visit children at the hospital so we're loving that it's for a good cause. We only wish we could be this creative so we can build our own Baby Yoda.

If you're still wondering about the Baby Yoda merch, the official plushies are still sold out. However, the toys could be available by summer. In the meantime, fans can rest assured that the Child will be back in The Mandalorian Season 2, which has officially wrapped production.

The Mandalorian Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. Nevertheless, the series is set to return on Disney+ by October.
