Star Wars Icon Harrison Ford Pays Tribute to Indiana Jones Co-Star Sean Connery

The world continues to mourn the passing of the legendary Sean Connery and it looks like one of his most famous co-stars has a truly fitting tribute. Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor Harrison Ford had a touching tribute to the legendary James Bond star.

Ford, who famously worked with Connery in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, recently released a statement about his co-star's passing. Not surprisingly, the Han Solo actor had nothing but praise for the Highlander star.

"He was my father...not in life...but in Indy 3," Ford told The Hollywood Reporter. "You don't know pleasure until someone pays you to take Sean Connery for a ride in the sidecar of a Russian motorcycle bouncing along a bumpy, twisty mountain trail and getting to watch him squirm. God we had fun - if he's in heaven, I hope they have golf courses. Rest in peace dear friend."

The comment is a sly reference to one of the most memorable scenes in The Last Crusade where Indy takes his father Henry Jones Sr. Needless to say, we will always have these awesome memories of Connery when we watch his movies again.

Connery passed away on October 31 while in the Bahamas with his family. According to his son Jason, the Diamonds are Forever star died peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. He was 90 years old.
