Star Wars: Gina Carano Confirms The Mandalorian Season 2 has Wrapped Production

That's a wrap for The Mandalorian Season 2. The highly anticipated second season of the Star Wars series has completed filming and nobody's happier than Gina Carano.

Carano celebrated the production wrap by posting a new image of her character Cara Dune on her official Instagram account. Check it out below.

"That's a wrap on season 2.." Carano wrote. "I absolutely love this work and the people in it." She then added the hashtags #storytelling and #themandalorian.

This is good news for fans who have been looking forward to seeing more of Cara in The Mandalorian Season 2. Although it looked like the former Shock Trooper would be left behind by Din Djarin and Baby Yoda as they set out to look for the Child's people, we're really hoping that Cara will be back for more action. Not surprisingly, Carano's post confirms that the character is set for more adventures later this year.

The second season of The Mandalorian actually started production late last year so it's no surprise that production has already wrapped. For now, we have yet to get any new details about the upcoming episodes but we're hoping that creator Jon Favreau will keep us updated in the next few weeks. Stay tuned for more on this story.

The Mandalorian Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. Nevertheless, the series is set to return on Disney+ by October.
