Star Wars: Bill Burr Reveals if Mayfeld will Return in The Mandalorian Season 2

Bill Burr may have only appeared in one episode of The Mandalorian but it looked like Mayfeld and his team still have a chance of returning in the Star Wars series. So has the comedian filmed for Season 2? Burr has just revealed the fate of his character in the Disney+ show.

Burr recently spoke to Vulture where he was promoting King of Staten Island and F Is for Family. When asked whether Mayfeld will be back in The Mandalorian Season 2 or if fans can look forward to seeing Kurby in Better Call Saul. Interestingly, Burr shared his schedule for the future.

"No, none of that. Once these two things come out on the same day, the well is dry. I got nothing. So we shall see," Burr said.

It's pretty disappointing to know that we won't get to see what happened to Mayfeld and the rest of his team after they double-crossed Din Djarin. On the other hand, this should give the series a chance to explore more stories that will take Djarin and Baby Yoda further.

Although it is still unclear when The Mandalorian Season 2 will resume production, creator Jon Favreau had previously assured fans that the show will not be delayed. According to Favreau, much of the series is already in post-production and the crew is working on it remotely in an effort to avoid delays.

The Mandalorian Season 2 has not yet been given an official release date. However, the Star Wars series is already expected to premiere on Disney+ by October.
