Star Wars Ahsoka Tano Series Confirmed, Rosario Dawson to Return in The Mandalorian Spin-Off Show

It looks like fans are getting exactly what they have been asking for. Disney has just confirmed a new Star Wars series focusing on Ahsoka Tano and Rosario Dawson will be returning to lead the upcoming spin-off show to The Mandalorian.

The news was confirmed at Disney Investor Day where the official logo for the show was revealed. The new logo was also shared by the official Star Wars Twitter account. Check it out below.

"Ahsoka, a new Original Series, starring @RosarioDawson and set within the timeline of @TheMandalorian, is coming to @DisneyPlus," the tweet reads.

This is a surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one. After all, fans were hoping that Ahsoka will play a larger role in the last two episodes of The Mandalorian Season 2. However, the announcement about the show might confirm that Dawson's character will be setting off for other things and will be away from the action.

But what could happen in Ahsoka? There are speculations that the series will follow Ahsoka as she tracks down Grand Admiral Thrawn. After all, she was trying to find the villain in Chapter 13: The Jedi so it would make sense for the show to reveal if she does find him.

For now, Dawson is the only star confirmed for Ahsoka. We're still hoping that she will be joined by actors who could play Star Wars Rebels characters Sabine Wren and Ezra Bridger as well. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
