Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Episode 10 Teases Return to Mirror Universe


It looks like it's time to take a deeper dive into the Mirror Universe. The synopsis and first images from Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Episode 10 have confirmed that Philippa Georgiou will continue to try and figure out what really happened to her while she was away from her own universe.

The upcoming episode of Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 is the latter half of a two-part story arc involving Georgiou. Since the first half already brought her back to the Mirror Universe, it's no surprise that the first images from Terra Firma, Part 2 confirm that we'll see more of this universe. In Terra Firma, Part 1, Georgiou and Burnham headed for Dannus V where they encounter a strange being named Carl who tells Georgiou to go through a door. When she gets to the other side, she realizes she is back in the Mirror Universe during her own time where she is still the Emperor of the Terran Empire.

Interestingly, Georgiou discovers that being with Discovery has changed her. Armed with this knowledge, she uses it to alter certain events, including rescuing Slave Saru and saving the treacherous Burnham.

The synopsis for Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Episode 10 reads as follows:

"Georgiou uncovers the true depths of the plot against her, leading her to a revelation about how deeply her time on the U.S.S. Discovery truly changed her."

Star Trek: Discovery Season 3 Episode 10 is titled Terra Firma, Part 2. It is scheduled to premiere on CBS All Access on December 17.
