Star Trek: Did Michael Dorn Confirm Worf's Return?

It's no secret that most of the cast members of Star Trek: The Next Generation are returning in Star Trek: Picard. But is it finally time for Worf will be showing up in the second season? Michael Dorn has teased on the possible return of the beloved Klingon in a new project.

There is little doubt that Trekkies have been hoping for Worf's return for a long time. After all, he was one of the characters that people were expecting to see in the first season of Star Trek: Picard. Sadly, that didn't happen but Dorn has just revealed that he's been asked to reprise his role in ... something.

"Just got the news, being summoned back into action. Starfleet calls," Dorn wrote. Interestingly, the tweet also includes the hashtag #ad.

The post comes at an interesting time considering that several shows are currently in production. So does this confirm that Worf will show up in Star Trek: Picard Season 2 or is he going to be in a completely new project?

Comicbook.com has reached out to Paramount+ about the tweet and a representative revealed Dorn's new project "has nothing to do with a Star Trek Universe on Paramount+ original series."

It's disappointing but we're hoping we'll get a positive update on Dorn's return to Star Trek. We'll be keeping you posted on this story.
