Spider-Man To Team Up With Fantastic Four In Possible MCU Film

People are already relieved that Spider-Man will return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after being pulled out by Sony earlier this year. It was then confirmed that Peter Parker will appear in another Marvel film after Spider-Man 3. But is it possible that Peter will be working with some new characters in the MCU? A new report suggests that Spider-Man could team up with the Fantastic Four in a completely new movie.

The report comes from We Got This Covered, which cites several sources confirming that Tom Holland could work with the new Fantastic Four in an MCU film. Mr. Fantastic and the team are expected to play a supporting role in the movie which is set to be their MCU debut. Interestingly, there is a possibility that their connection with the established Marvel heroes will be through Spider-Man.

So how will Fantastic Four get introduced into the MCU? There are speculations that Reed Richards will serve as Peter's new mentor. In addition to that, the Avengers Tower could eventually be turned into the Baxter Building. It's an interesting idea but it's important to remember that the details have not yet been confirmed. With that in mind, it's best to take the information with a grain of salt.

It might take some time before Holland can begin playing Spider-Man again in the MCU. The Chaos Walking actor is currently working on the new Russo brothers film Cherry, where he plays a former soldier who becomes addicted to opioids and begins robbing banks.
