Shang-Chi Reportedly Set for Reshoots in LA


People are still pumped up for Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings after the release of its awesome trailer. Fans were certainly loving the trailer but it looks like Marvel Studios is taking note of all the available feedback. It has just been reported that the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick will go through some reshoots in Los Angeles next week.

Murphy's Multiverse reports that additional photography will be shot in LA next week. This is interesting news considering that Shang-Chi has already wrapped last year.

So what could this mean for The Legend of The Ten Rings? Some believe that Marvel decided to change up to or add more footage to the film after the overwhelming fan reaction to the trailer. For now, we're not sure what they will be adding to the movie but it could be something to look forward to.

Of course, reshoots are all part of the moviemaking process so it might not even affect Shang-Chi's main storyline. Additionally, the lead stars might not even be involved in the additional footage. Either way, we're waiting for updates on the reshoots.

The first trailer forShang-Chi was dropped in celebration of Simu Liu's birthday and it was undoubtedly one of the best gifts the actor and Marvel fans could receive. The teaser offered our first official look at Shang-Chi in action and possibly confirmed that the movie is going to be more of an action film than other MCU flicks.

Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and also stars Awkwafina, Tony Leung, Michelle Yeoh, Fala Chen, Meng'er Zhang, Florian Munteanu, and Ronny Chieng. The film is scheduled for release on September 3, 2021.

Marvel
