Rurouni Kenshin: The Final New TV Spot Drops First Look at Tomoe, Epic Kenshin vs Enishi Fight

The premiere of Rurouni Kenshin: The Final is only a week away in Japan and it looks like Warner Bros. is hyping up the upcoming live-action adaptation of the manga story arc. A new TV spot reveals our first look at the tragic Tomoe Yukishiro and teases the epic showdown between Kenshin Himura and Enishi Yukishiro.

The brief TV spot finally shows us the woman who connects Kenshin and Enishi. Although she only appears for a few seconds, we see Tomoe (Kasumi Arimura) watching a parade with a dreamy look on her face.

It's a brief yet heartbreaking moment considering that the official trailer had shown us how she was killed by Kenshin (Takeru Satoh) in the snow. But there's another unexpected shot in the teaser. This time, we see the young Enishi watching in horror as his sister is struck down by her husband.

From a young boy, we then see Enishi (Mackenyu) grow up to become a vengeful man who wants to destroy Kenshin. It is clear that Enishi will not stop until he has taken everything away from the man who killed his sister but can Kenshin stop him before it's too late?

The new teaser also features the song Renegades by One OK Rock. A music video for the song was released before the TV spot was dropped.

Rurouni Kenshin: The Final is the first of the last two live-action movie adaptations of the manga. The second film Rurouni Kenshin: The Beginning, is set for release on June 4.

Rurouni Kenshin: The Final will premiere in Japan on April 23, 2021.
