A stunning new TV spot for Raya and The Last Dragon has been dropped during Super Bowl LV. The gorgeous teaser offers some awesome new footage and puts the focus on the importance of Raya's family.

The TV spot for the Disney+ movie opens with a group of people fighting over a glowing orb which is accidentally dropped in the chaos. From there, ice appears to spread and cover the land.

A young Raya (Kelly Marie Tran) is clearly confused about why everything in Kumandra is so bleak. "How did this world get so broken?" she asks her father Benja (Daniel Dae Kim). The Chief has a hopeful response: "I believe that we can be unified again," he tells her. "But someone has to take the first step."

These words will undoubtedly propel Raya on her mission to find the Last Dragon and convince her to help humanity all over again. But will it be enough to ensure the safety of mankind? The truth will be revealed this March.

The synopsis for Raya and The Last Dragon reads as follows:

Raya and the Last Dragon takes us on an exciting, epic journey to the fantasy world of Kumandra, where humans and dragons lived together long ago in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity.

“Now, 500 years later, that same evil has returned and it’s up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the fractured land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she’ll learn that it’ll take more than a dragon to save the world—it’s going to take trust and teamwork as well.”

Raya and The Last Dragon is directed by Don Hall and Carlos López Estrada. The film also features the voices of Awkwafina as Sisu, Gemma Chan as Namaari, Sandra Oh as Virana, Benedict Wong as Tong, Izaac Wang as Boun, Thalia Tran as Little Noi, and Alan Tudyk as Tuk Tuk.

The film will premiere in selected theaters on March 5. It will also be available for streaming with Premier Access on Disney+ on the same day.
