Paul Rudd Shares Hilarious Reaction to Meeting Chris Evans for the First Time

There is little doubt that fans could get starstruck when meeting a major celebrity for the first time. However, it looks like some actors are just as dazzled by their own co-stars. Paul Rudd has just admitted that he was nervous when he had to meet Chris Evans for the first time while working on Captain America: Civil War.

Rudd and Evans recently took part in an episode of Variety's Actors on Actors and the Avengers: Endgame stars spoke about their first meeting in preparation for Civil War. Interestingly, Rudd was quick to admit that he felt a little awkward when he finally got to meet Evans.

"When I was working with you on Civil War, for that first scene that we had where we were in the car parked," Rudd said, to which Evans responded, "That was the first day I met you." Rudd then continued that he wasn't exactly acting for that scene.

"Yeah. And there was a real kind of nervousness about Scott Lang, and I just really kind of played into that because that was part of what I was feeling anyway. I'd look around and think, ‘Whoa, there's Chris Evans and there's Sebastian Stan, and wow — and there's the suits,'" he stated.

At this point, Rudd was reminiscing about being a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"Do you remember there was like a little makeshift locker room? We're all kind of changing into things, and I saw the suits on the racks. It felt like being in a locker room of a Super Bowl-winning football team," he said.

That would certainly make anyone feel like being a part of the biggest team of superheroes ever assembled. Needless to say, we can't really blame Rudd for being a little starstruck when he met the heavy hitters.

Rudd is set to return as Scott Lang in Ant-Man 3 although the film has not yet been given an official release date.
