WandaVision has been all about Wanda Maximoff and Vision but the Marvel Cinematic Universe series will actually bring in another major character soon. Paul Bettany has just dropped clues about a mystery guest star on the show and it could be someone huge.

Bettany was a recent guest on the Lights Camera Barstool podcast where he spoke about working on the MCU series. During the interview, the Avengers: Infinity War star admitted he is excited about the scene he shared with a major star whose involvement has not yet been leaked.

“So many things get leaked, but there’s this thing that has been completely under wrap that happens,” Bettany said before revealing that the series has a mystery guest star.

“I work with this actor that I’ve always wanted to work with and we have fireworks together, the scenes are great and I think people are going to be really excited. I’ve always wanted to work with this guy and the scenes are pretty intense,” Bettany added.

That doesn't exactly tell us much although Bettany probably isn't talking about Evan Peters, who has been rumored to play Quicksilver in WandaVision. After all, Peters' involvement was confirmed by several set photos.

So who is WandaVision's mystery star? There are speculations that Bettany is actually referring to Avengers: Age of Ultron actor James Spader, who provided the voice of the titular AI. However, it is important to point out that Spader's casting has not yet been confirmed so it's best to take it with a grain of salt.

WandaVision Episode 4 airs on Disney+ this Friday.
