It has only been a few months since Marvel Studios found the perfect Marc Spector but it looks like Moon Knight is moving forward faster than the other Disney+ series. A new report confirms that the upcoming Oscar Isaac show has added two new directors to helm additional episodes. Moreover, it looks like the Marvel Cinematic Universe series will premiere in summer next year.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Moon Knight has just added The Endless directors Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. The co-directors will reportedly work on additional episodes of the MCU show on top of the "sizable chunk of episodes" that will be helmed by Mohamed Diab.

The news gives us an idea about the Moon Knight episode count, which could run up to nine episodes just like WandaVision. However, the episode count for the Disney+ series has not yet been confirmed but we'll keep you updated.

Interestingly, the new directors are not the only big news for Moon Knight this week. The Ronin also reports that Marvel Studios is aiming to start production on the show as soon as possible so it would be ready for a premiere date in Summer 2022. This would mean that the series could air on Disney+ soon after Ms. Marvel's premiere on the same year.

The premise of Moon Knight is still a mystery but fans are already looking forward to seeing Isaac as the renowned comic book character. The production start date and premiere date have not yet been confirmed. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
