Oscar Isaac Says Moon Knight is the Biggest Risk of his Career

There is little doubt that Moon Knight is going to be a completely different Marvel Cinematic Universe series and Oscar Isaac is well aware of this. The X-Men: Apocalypse star says that playing Marc Spector in the upcoming Disney+ show is the biggest risk he has taken in his career. In addition to that, Isaac admits to being nervous about joining the MCU.

The idea of Isaac playing Moon Knight has been an exciting one for fans considering that Marc is a truly complex comic book character with real issues. Since the superhero lives with disassociative identity disorder, it will be like playing three or more characters and this could be one of the reasons why Isaac feels like the stakes are very high in this project.

Isaac was recently a guest on Good Morning Arizona where he was asked about the best risk he has ever taken. Interestingly, the Ex Machina star revealed that it's the series he is currently working on.

"I gotta say, what I'm doing right now, I'm doing this show called Moon Knight," Isaac said. "We got a month left, and I feel like, so far, that this might be the one where I was like 'I was so nervous about it,' but I've just been having such a blast."

It's interesting that Isaac chose Moon Knight despite having a long career where almost all of the roles he takes on is a major risk. On the other hand, it's clear that the Sucker Punch actor is having the time of his life filming the MCU series. With that in mind, it's obvious that the Disney+ show is going to be special and we can't wait to see Isaac as the comic book hero.

Moon Knight also stars Ethan Hawke, May Calamawy, and Gaspard Ulliel. The series has not yet been given an official release date but is expected to air on Disney+ by 2022.
