"Prayers before the evil is released in the morning," Gibson wrote. "Morbius trailer 9am PST!!!!!!!!!!" He then added the hashtags #MarvelComics, #MCU, and #Sony.

At this point, it's unclear why Gibson chose to delete his post. Nevertheless, we'll be waiting at 9:00 AM PST in hopes that the first trailer will finally be released.

Morbius will star Jared Leto as Michael Morbius, Matt Smith as Loxias Crown, Adria Arjona as Martine Bancroft, and Jared Harris as Morbius' unnamed mentor. Gibson will portray Simon Stroud, an FBI agent who investigates Morbius. Stroud's partner Alberto Rodriguez will be played by Al Madrigal.

The description of Morbius reads as follows:

"Biochemist Michael Morbius tries to cure himself of a rare blood disease, but he inadvertently infects himself with a form of vampirism instead."

The first Morbius trailer is expected to drop today, January 13, at 9:00 AM PST. The film is scheduled for release on July 31.
